Dunne Communications Inc. is a sales and engineering services firm that has been serving Montana and the Northwest for over 30 years in the area of microwave systems, mobile radio and other types of wireless communication.

Our specialty is wireless telecommunications, both microwave and two way radio.

Dunne Communications represents major equipment manufactures such,as Aviat, Motorola and eXalt and others offering high quality microwave solutions both licensed and unlicensed.

Dunne communications also is a full line dealer and MR
for Motorola and Kenwood Land Mobile radio equipment.

One of our owners, Pat Dunne retired from the Montana Power Co. as a Senior Telecommunications engineer. In his career with Montana Power he worked in all areas of telecommunications. As Supervisor of Maintenance and Operations he supervised 29 technicians maintaining the 2nd largest telecommunications system in Montana at that time. As senior telecommunications engineer he helped design the digital microwave network that now controls the power grid and power plants in the Montana Power System. Other accomplishment at MPC includes design and implementation of a Natural Gas SCADA network involving 150 sites in Montana and Canada. He has extensive experience designing Microwave systems, wireless LANs and wide area networks, trunked and conventional radio systems, and digital control systems.

Thomas Dunne has over 25 years experience in Telecommunications, both in maintenance of existing systems, and design and sales of new systems. Tom helped start Dunne Communications and presently serves as president and general manager. He has helped in the design of many microwave projects and supervised installation and optimization.

Dunne Communications has engineered, installed and maintained many communications systems for customers in Public Safety, Industrial and Utility industries.

Dunne Communications provides radio and microwave propagation analysis and path design using the EDX engineering “Signal Pro” professional computer software.
